It is made with a secret recipe of herbs, bittered with Gentiane root from the Auvergne region and mellowed in Limousin oak The result is a bittersweet, earthy, a touch vegetal with notes of anise and citrus. It is traditionally enjoyed over ice with a twist of lemon but can be used in a variety of cocktails.
